The 3-Step Bike Fit Process 

Step 1: Musculo-Skeletal Screening 

We start by taking a detailed look at your injury history, training load, and cycling goals. Our thorough head-to-toe musculoskeletal assessment identifies any joint restrictions, muscle imbalances, foot alignment issues, and poor functional movement patterns. Imbalances and weaknesses can lead to pedalling asymmetry, resulting in reduced performance and increased injury. Unlike other bike fitting services, we focus extensively on the rider as too often you take your problems onto the bike.

Step 2: Personalised Rehabilitation Plan 

Based on your assessment, we create a bespoke cycling rehabilitation plan tailored to your specific style and discipline. This plan targets core stability, flexibility, and any weaknesses identified during your clinical assessment. To ensure continuous improvement, your rehab program is accessible online, allowing us to track and modify your progress as needed. 

Step 3: Scientific Discipline-Specific Bike Fit 

Our final step integrates clinical findings into a dynamic bike fit process. We tailor the bike to you, the rider, ensuring comfort without compromising on performance.


We prioritise the three key points of contact with the bike: foot/pedal, saddle, and bars, for optimal comfort and performance tailored to your riding style. We compare pre- and post-fit key positions using cycling-specific software.


We pay special attention to the foot/pedal interface, optimising power transfer and preventing lower limb injuries. Our approach is grounded in current evidence-based research, ensuring you achieve a smooth, injury-free ride.
